Hello from Queensland

Here we are in Rainy Queensland, It's still a great place to live even though we have had a lot of rain this year. She told me that the plants grow while you watch them here and it is so true.

Hey all Taz here
We have finally settled in to our new home and I have lots of new friends. We have kookaburras, butcher birds, magpies, pewees, lorikeets and, and, and... I will send out some new photos soon so you can see what our new place looks like with all the mowing done and the park cleaned up. We are calling it the Park because Cousin Catherine said when she saw the first photo. It looks just like a park.

A Settled Taz

Hiya all Taz here 8/7/09

For all those who have been following we are back home and we have bought a new house. It is in Queensland and it is in the bush.

Here are some photos.

Here's my new friend Kev the kookaburra. He lives nearby and is sitting on the rock at the front of my house.

Here's the side view of my house. We have lots of room. I have a dam where I can find FOOOD!!! Don't you dare touch the wild ducks SHE just said. Uh! Oh! had better calm down and not say too much.
Anyway will post some more when we get there. We will be there at the beginning of August.

Hi gang,
Here I am in Ozzieland. Thank goodness.
The plane ride was a bit scarey- lots of bumps but I didn't get any bruises. Now we are having a rest after our long trip. Maybe we will talk to you next week.

A Taz in Seattle

Hiya all, Taz here 12/6/09

Hullo here I am in the lap of luxury busy reading my travel book. We are in Seattle and THEY went out and left me so I got busy and made sure that everything was in my book. Do you like my reading glasses. I had to borrow HIS because my eyes are tired from all that trying to spot my animal friends. And because the sun was shining HE had to lend me a hat. ( Such a shock- sunshine!!! We hadn't seen in much in the last week).

Oh well it's a good ending to a great holiday. I hope when THEY decide to go again THEY will take me. Will talk to you guys when we get home on 16/6/09 Ozzie time.

Spokane Valley WA to Ellensburg WA

G'day, G'day, Taz here 11/6/09
My last night on the road... Tomorrow we have to put the car in and then we get to stay in Seattle right next to a very tall building. It's called The Space Needle. SHE showed me a photo. It even looks like a needle.
Today we didn't do much as THEY had chores to do.
Well it's been an experience coming here. It's made me glad I'm an Ozzie though. There are an awful lot of dangerous animals and things in this country- Bison, Bears, Prairie Dogs ( you can talk to them but you can't touch) Rattlesnakes and... the list goes on. At home I am one of the dangerous ones but as there is only a few of us people don't usually see us (except when I am after chocolate).
HE and SHE have had a good time. Except when the white stuff was falling. THEY are used to hot weather like me.
We will still be talking to you tomorrow and the next day but on Sunday SHE has to put me away so I can travel home because I STILL DON'T HAVE A PASSPORT!!! (Next trip she had better get me one)

Butte to Deer Lodge to Superior to Spokane Valley WA

Hullo all Taz here 10/6/09
Oh guess what it's hot. Yay!!!
We went a long way today and HE and SHE went to visit a prison. NO they were not visiting anyone and NO they weren't being put in there. They were visiting a prison museum. SHE said that it was a horrible place and came and told me that I had to be good all the time or else I might end up in a place like that. YUKKK!!!
We were looking for Patrick Prairie Dog today. He was supposed to be living on the Montana/Idaho border but we couldn't find him. I bet Polly his sister got her directions mixed up when I was talking to her the other day. Polly probably meant the Montana/Wyoming border. Oh well so I don't get to meet him. Shame I heard he likes Tassies.
Not much done today. Will talk to you guys tomorrow when we get nearer to Seattle.
Okay something else to tell you. Our trip will be finished in a few days. I will be back in Oz next week and will be able to talk to all my friends Yay!!!
Quiet Taz came from the corner!SHE is tired and needs a sleep so I had better go.
